Documentary THE HOUSE “WORD” tells the story of one of the biggest crimes of the soviet power – the destruction of the influential and strong art movement that emerged in the 1920-1930syears in Kharkiv (Ukraine). In the house named “Word”, there were 66 apartments where lived the most famous Ukrainian writers, poets, artists, directors. Among them were: Mykola Hvyliovyy, Mike Jogansen, Pavlo Tychyna, Natalia Uzhvi, Volodymyr, Sosyura, Ostap Vyshnya, Oles Kurbas, Michaylo Yalovyi, Ivan Bagryanyy, Raisa Trojanker and others. They were obviously gathered in one place and disappeared one by one over the next few years by repressing or shooting.
